Supporting Fruit Tree Stewards throughout Boulder County
Our specialized Fruit Tree Care Program is crafted to empower fruit tree stewards and enhance the well-being of local fruit trees. By nurturing these trees, we aim to preserve their role as vital contributors to our urban tree canopy, ensuring they continue bearing not only delicious but also nutritious fruits. Recognizing the broader impact, healthy and resilient trees play a crucial role in our larger ecosystem. They help reduce temperatures, support biodiversity, and contribute to a more sustainable environment, enriching our community and beyond. Together, we aim to cultivate a resilient, sustainable, and thriving urban orchard that positively influences our broader ecological landscape.

Fruit Tree Wellness Visits
Beginning in 2024, we are piloting a new on-site service for a limited number of fruit tree stewards in the Boulder region focusing on winter tree pruning, or consultation appointments.
Our Winter Fruit Tree Pruning service is important for encouraging tree health and strong branching structure. Our skilled experts will conduct February tree prunings to promote air circulation, and stimulate robust fruit production. Please note: as we launch this new offering in 2024, we are only able to service trees under 15’ tall.
For individuals inclined to take on their fruit tree care independently but seek guidance and assistance in devising an effective plan, we are providing hour long consultation appointments with our fruit tree professionals. These consultation appointments are available throughout the year, and our team will work with each tree steward to understand individual goals and priorities for your fruit trees and backyard ecosystem.
