Why donate?

Since 2014, Community Fruit Rescue has rescued nearly 180,000 pounds of local fruit that would have otherwise gone to waste. Instead, this fruit fills the homes of our volunteers, as well as the pantries of food banks, shelters, schools, and even rescued animals at the Wild Animal Sanctuary. 

Your generous donation will allow Community Fruit Rescue to reduce food waste, support local food security, protect wildlife, and build resilient communities. As a small but mighty organization, any amount will have an enormous impact on our work. Thank you!

Your donation enables CFR to:

• Harvest more trees and expand our service area.
• Fund new and existing programs like our Tree Care Program, Food Preservation Workshops, and Wildlife Coexistence Program. 
• Replace and repair basic harvesting supplies like picking poles, ladders, scales, and crates.
• Purchase supplies for food preservation workshops.
• Support CFR's small team to ensure our harvest seasons and programming run smoothly from beginning to end!
