Tool Library & DIY Equipment Rentals

From roots to fruits — tools to do it yourself

Launching Spring/Summer 2026!

Community Fruit Rescue is expanding access to hands-on fruit stewardship through our new Tool Library and DIY Equipment Rental program. Beginning in Spring/Summer 2026, community members will be able to borrow high-quality fruit tree care, harvest, and fruit preservation equipment at an affordable rate.

We created this program because tools shouldn’t be a barrier to participation. Whether you’re pruning your backyard apple tree, harvesting fruit to share with neighbors, or preserving a bumper crop for the winter, specialized equipment can be expensive and difficult to store. Our Tool Library makes it easier for individuals and families to care for trees, reduce food waste, increase food access, and build practical skills.

This program supports our broader work at Community Fruit Rescue: strengthening the local tree canopy, reducing wildlife attractants, and ensuring more fruit is harvested and shared throughout our community.
