Join us on October 12th!In this beginner-friendly, expert-led class, you’ll learn the basics of canning and preserving using one of the simplest (and tastiest) recipes—homemade applesauce! Together we’ll transform freshly rescued Community Fruit Rescue apples into sauce and safely preserve them in jars using the hot water bath method. Along the way, you’ll pick up tips and tricks to make the process easy and fun. By the end, you’ll head home with your very own jar of applesauce and the know-how to start preserving other fruits, too. No experience needed—just come ready to peel, stir, taste, and enjoy the magic of canning.
